St. Claire of Assisi is the patron saint of needleworkers and television. The monstrance that she normally holds in her hands has been replaced by an analog television set that randomly picks up the first station it can find. With the "advent" of digital television, the set most often has a static screen except in rural locations where religous TV seems to still be broadcasting analog.
